QA Engineer (f/m/d)
Locations can be: Munich, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Rennes
The main responsibility of a QA Engineer revolves around testing software, pinpointing and recording issues, collaborating across teams to guarantee product excellence, and enhancing testing procedures.
The most critical aspect of this role is to identify potential issues or weaknesses in software through thorough and strategic testing, ensuring that the final product meets high-quality standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Responsible for bug resolution in code and adeptly utilizing various debugging tools and techniques to ensure the integrity and functionality of software products
- Actively contributing to the enhancement of technical specifications and maintaining meticulous documentation to ensure compliance with QA standards
- This role works closely with development teams, product/project managers, QA peers, customer support, UX/design teams, IT/operations, and management/stakeholders to align testing efforts, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality software meeting technical and user expectations
- Be part of the Quality Assurance Center of Excellence and work in a Scrum team closely with the developers and everybody else involved.
Experience & Qualification
- 3 to 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance/testing roles with 1 to 2 years experience in automation testing, preferably within FinTech or related sectors
- You are enthusiastic about Quality and care about our customers & users
- Technologies Required: With test automation experience, also experience in Python coding
- By nature, you are autonomous, proactive and drive your tasks to success
- You feel comfortable in a group of Quality Assurance Engineers with whom you make the right technical decisions and always push for getting better every day
- Fluent spoken and written English with some basic German
